Eligibility and Age limit :- Candidate must pass the H.S.L.C. or its equivalent examination in single sitting with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects. Candidates also must have passed individually in both Theory and Practical examinations in Mathematics and Science.
Polytechnic Admission Test Centers : Admission Test will be held Govt. Polytechnics/ Institutions of Assam under Directorate of Technical Education, Assam and in selected centers at Mangaldoi and Tezpur.

How to Apply for PAT 2022 Assam
Candidates are to apply online by opening the www.dte.assam.gov.in and click on "Online Application for PAT-2022 ". The online application portal will open w.e.f. 1st May, 2022 to 10th June, 2022. No other mode of application will be accepted.
1. Candidates are requested to read the instructions carefully in the information Brochure available in the link www.dte.assam.gov.in before filling the Online
Application form.
2. In case of difficulty for applying online, candidates may take help / assistance from their nearest Polytechnic/ Institution under Directorate of Technical
Education, Assam.
Application Fee for PAT Assam 2022
For Polytechnic Admission Test-2022 and Counselling for Admission" : An application fee of Rs.500/- (plus bank charges as applicable) is to be paid using "State Bank Collect" which facilitates payment through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking. Payment may also be made which facilitates payment through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking. Payment may also be made in cash at any branch State Bank of India after generating the Cash Deposit form from "State Bank Collect' in final step of Online Application. Further instructions will be available during the online application process. Candidates are required to carefully follow the steps while applying online.

Please Note:-
1. Candidates will not be permitted to take admission without Permanent Resident Certificate LPRCI /Caste Certificate / for OBC (Non Creamy Layer Certificate after clearing Polytechnic Admission Test-2022. Therefore, the candidates are requested to keep the PRC and above mentioned documents ready well in advance for admission into the State Govt. Polytechnics of Assam.
