Other Eligibility Criteria for Assam Police Recruitment 2022
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit proof of residence /Domicile Certificate after publication of the final select list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.
Employment Exchange Registration Certificate: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
Age Limit: Candidates age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on 1st January 2022 (i.e., Candidate must be born on or before 01/01/2004 and on or after 01/01/1997).
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below-
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- Trained Home guard: 3 years
