SSA Barpeta  invited Applications  from eligible candidates for the following positions for engagement in the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Type-I & III Residential Schools for Girls under SSA, Barpeta. The engagement will be purely contractual for period of 11 months. As the KGBVs (I & III) are residential and all the candidates of Head Teacher & Full Time Asstt. Teacher has resided in the school or hostel campus except during the vacation, when KGBV students are allowed to go home.

  • Qualification Essential: Master Degree in Sociology with B.Ed from Recognised University and qualified in Higher Secondary TET. 
  • Preference: Experience in Teaching (UP/HS/HSS level). 
  • In case of non -availability of Higher Secondary TET qualified candidates: Essential: Master Degree in Sociology with B.Ed from recognized University.

Preference: Experience in Teaching. (UP/HS/HSS level) 

In case of non-availability of Higher Secondary TET qualified candidates:

16. Account Asstt. cum Caretaker 
  • No. of Vacancy: 1 no.
  • Essential Qualification: Graduate from Recognized University with proficiency of basic Computer operating. 
  • Preference: Having Commerce background. 
  • Remuneration:  Rs. 18000/- PM 
  • Age Limit:45 Years as on 01/01/2022

Reservation: All position of Teachers are reserved for female candidate. Account Asstt. cum Caretaker where both Male & Female candidates can apply. 

Relaxation: Relaxation of upper age limit will be applicable for SC, ST(P), ST(H), OBC, MOBC & PH candidates for 5 years as per Govt. of Assam 0M No. 06/2016/04 Dtd: 03.03.2016. If Non TET candidate will be selected, they will have to qualify Higher Secondary TET within 3 consecutive TET.
