GMDA Recruitment 2022 - Asstt. Engineer and Architect Vacancy

GMDA invited Online applications from the intending eligible candidates who are citizens of India having Registration Number in Employment Exchange in the State of Assam for filling up the following vacancies as indicated below in the O/O Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority, Statfed Building, GMCH Road, Bhangagarh, Guwahati-05.

Details of GMDA Recruitment 2022

1.Assistant Engineer (Civil & Electrical) 

• No of Post: 06 (Civil Engineering - 5, Electrical Engineering - 01 )
• Reservation :  UR -2, OBC - 2, STP -1,SC -1
• Pay Band: Rs. 30,000 – 1,10,000/-
• Grade Pay: Rs. 12,700/-
• Age: Maximum age should be 38 years on the 1st January of the year of recruitment (Age relaxation will be given as per state Govt. Rules)
• Work Experience:  1-year work experience in respective fields of specialization in Govt. or Non Govt. Sector (within permanent / contractual capacity).

Essential Qualification: Civil Engineering - B.E. / B. Tech. / Equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized university for Civil Engineer Position 

Electrical Engineering -  B.E. / B. Tech. / Equivalent in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university for Electrical Engineering Post.

Department and Duty Station: O/o Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority, STATFED Building, GMCH Road, Bhangagarh, Guwahati-05.

Mode of Selection: There shall be two phases in the selection process:

Phase- I: The Candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in an objective type written test to be held in Guwahati on a date to be notified later on in website- gmda.niyuktiportal.in 

The syllabus of the Objective Type Written Test will be as follows:

Phase - II: Against each vacancy, 3 candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test. After the written test, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear in a Personal Interview to be held in Guwahati. Total marks for the Personal Interview will be 20 Marks.

2.Assistant Architect 

• No of Post:01 (Reserved for OBC)
• Essential Qualification: B. Arch. / Equivalent from a recognized university.
• Pay Band: Rs. 30,000 – 1,10,000/- Grade Pay: Rs. 12,700/-
• Age:  Maximum age should be 38 years on the 1^st January of the year of recruitment (Age relaxation will be given as per state Govt. Rules).
• Work Experience:  1-year work experience in respective fields of specialization in Govt. or Non Govt. Sector (within permanent / contractual capacity).

• Number of vacancies: 6 (Six)
• Reservation: UR - 3, OBC - 1, STP -1, SC -1
• Pay Band: Rs. 14,000-49,000/- Grade Pay: Rs. 8,700/-
• Age: Maximum age should be 38 years on the 1^st January of the year of recruitment (Age relaxation will be given as per state Govt. Rules).
• Work Experience: 1-year work experience in respective fields of specialization in Govt. or Non Govt. Sector (within permanent / contractual capacity).

Essential Qualification: Civil Engineering - 3 yrs. Diploma in Civil Engineering / Equivalent from a recognized polytechnic college or institute.

Electrical Engineering - 3 yrs. Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Equivalent from a recognized polytechnic college or institute.

• Essential Qualification: Three years Diploma in Architect Engineering / Architectural Assistantship / Equivalent from a recognized institute.
• Pay Band: Rs. 14,000-49,000/- Grade Pay: Rs. 8,700/-
• Age:  Maximum age should be 38 years on the 1^st January of the year of recruitment (Age relaxation will be given as per state Govt. Rules)
• Work Experience:  1-year work experience in respective fields of specialization in Govt. or Non Govt. Sector (within permanent / contractual capacity).

a) Rs. 250/- for SC/ST category candidate.

b) Rs. 500/- for all other category candidate.
