Dibrugarh University invited Online applications from eligible candidates for appearing in the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (B.Ed. CET) 2021 for admission to the B.Ed. Programme under Dibrugarh University scheduled to be held on 19.09.2021 (Sunday).

Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed Admission
- (a) Candidate with at least 50% marks (in Aggregate) either in the Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities; OR Bachelor’s in Engineering / Technology of Dibrugarh University, or any other University recognized by Dibrugarh University with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.
- (b)Candidate must clear the B.Ed. Common Entrance Test conducted by the University for that academic session.
A candidate securing 50% marks or more in the Honours / Major subject but less than 50 % in aggregate in all the courses / papers of the Bachelor’s degree will not be eligible for admission to B.Ed. programme, as the requirement is 50% marks in the aggregate.
Reservation :
There will be statutory reservation under various categories as follows:
➢ SC - 7%
➢ ST (P) - 10%
➢ ST (H) - 5%
➢ OBC/MOBC - 15%
➢
Differently abled - 3% (candidates who are very negligibly disabled by
visual deficiency and the like, shall not be eligible for
consideration under this reserved category)
➢ EWS-10% of the total seats over and above the intake capacity
Application Procedure for the B.Ed. CET 2021
Online Registration for submission of Application Form will begin from 23.08.2021. Application for B.Ed. CET 2021
is through online mode only. No other means of application is
accepted. The last date for submission of application is 05.09.2021 (till 5.00 p.m.)
For
submission of the Online Application Form, intending candidates
are advised to follow the following instructions:
- a) The candidate shall be required to visit the B.Ed. CET 2021 Portal in the website- www.dibru.ac.in and go through the ‘Click here to Apply’ Link.
- b) The Candidates are suggested to read carefully the Process-flow or the Instructions before going to the Next step.
- c) On clicking the Next button, the Online Application Form shall be displayed. The Candidates need to fill-up all information correctly. Please note that all fields of the Application Form are mandatory.
- d) During filling-up the Application Form, the Candidate need to create a Password according to their choice for subsequent log-in to pay Application Fee and Final Submission.
- e) After completion of the filling-up the Form and uploading of the Photograph and Signature, the Candidate needs to click the button- ‘Submit and Proceed for Payment of the Application Fee’ of Rs.700/- only.
- f) In the next page, the candidate needs to log-in by entering the Mobile No. and Password for Fee Payment.
- g) On Payment of the Fees, ‘Your Final Submission is done. You may take print out of your Application Form and Admit Card now’ will be displayed.
- h) There will be a button to download your Application Form and Admit Card for future reference.
- i) The Candidate shall have to take a print out of the Admit Card and bring the same to the Examination Hall on the Date of the Test for verification.
- j) The Submission of Online Application Forms shall be automatically closed after the last date.

Application Fees for B.Ed.Admission under Dibrugarh University
The applicant shall have to pay the B.Ed. CET Fee of Rs. 700/- only through the online payment gateway by using Debit (ATM) Card/Credit Card/ Internet Banking during the submission of form. No other mode of payment is acceptable.
