Scale of pay: The Corporation offers a very attractive pay package and is one of the best in the industry. Selected candidates will be paid Rs. 27,500/- per month as a stipend during the one-year training period.
On successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed as Junior Engineer Gr-IV (S1) in the Supervisory category in the pay scale of Rs. 25,000 –3%- 1,17,500 (IDA).
Eligibility Criteria of POWERGRID Diploma Trainee Recruitment
Age Limit: Candidate upper age limit must be 27 years as on 23.09.2023 .
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as under:
- OBC/ NCL: 3 years
- SC/ ST: 5 years
- PwBD: 10 years over & above category relaxation
Essential Qualification: Full-Time Regular Three Years Diploma in relevant discipline of engineering from recognized Technical Board / Institute.
Percentage of Marks: Minimum 70% marks.
Note: Higher technical qualification like B.Tech. / BE / M.Tech. / ME etc. with or without Diploma is not allowed . Qualification acquired through distance mode will not be considered.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 300/-, wherever applicable.
