- (b) Bachelor degree in music (Vocal/Instrumental/Sattriya) from any Govt, Music College/ Govt. recognized institute,
Or
- Bachelor degree in fine arts from any Govt, College of Art & Craft Govt, recognized institute,
Or
- Bachelor Degree in Cultural Studies from any recognized university/ Govt. recognized institute.
(ii) Preferable Qualification:
- (a) The candidate must possess adequate knowledge on Cultural Heritage of the state of Assam,

Other Criteria of APSC Recruitment 2023
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2023.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below:
- SC: 5 years
- ST: 5 years
- OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Residentship:
- (i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- (ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate / Voter ID card of the candidate or his/her parents will be treated as proof of residency along with the application form.

Step 2: Click here for filling out the application for Scientific/Cultural Development Officer.
Step 3: Click on the “New Registration” link.
Step 4: Fill in personal information and a valid e-mail Address and Mobile number. An e-mail/SMS will be received in the registered e-mail Id/Mobile number.
Step 5: Login using the Registration number & password.
Step 6: Upload the scanned copy of the photograph, self-attested certificates in proof of date of birth, educational/technical qualifications, and caste certificate i.e.SC/ST/OBC and click on the submit button.
Step 7: Download the Scientific/Cultural Development Officer application form and print it for future reference.
