Consolidated Remuneration p.m. & Additional Benefits payable
- 1st Year Rs. 40,000/- plus Rs. 12000/- Additional Benefits
- 2nd Year Rs. 45,000/-
- 3rd Year Rs. 50,000/-
- 4th year Rs. 55,000/-
However, if any candidate has completed three years of tenure as a Trainee Engineer in BEL and has applied for Project Engineer post he/she will be directly inducted as Project Engineer -II. The remuneration of such candidates will be Rs.45,000/- for the 1st Year, Rs. 50000/- for the 2nd Year and Rs. 55,000/- for the 3rd Year. The overall tenure will be limited to 3 years only.
Eligibility Criteria for BEL Recruitment
Qualification: Full time BE/B. Tech course from reputed Institute/University in the following Engineering disciplines –
- a) Electronics - Electronics/ Electronic & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Telecommunication/ Communication.
- b) Computer Science - Computer Science/ Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology.
Minimum Percentage of Marks in BE/ B.Tech:
- General/OBC: 55% & above
- SC/ST/PWD: Pass class
Method of conversion of CGPA to percentage has to be indicated in the application form.
Minimum Experience : 2 Years. The candidates should have relevant post qualification Industrial experience. Experience in IP Networking, Helpdesk Management is desirable. Experience in IT Infrastructure Projects/ IP Networking / Data Centre Projects/CCTV Projects/Sensors based IOT Projects / any IP enabled Electronic / Software product Installation, Configuration, Maintenance or Product Support services are
preferred.
Upper Age Limit: Upper age limit is 32 years as on 01.08.2023.
Relaxations: The upper age limit will be relaxable as follows:
- For SC/ST candidates by 5 years
- For OBC candidates by 3 years.
- For candidates belonging to PwBD category having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years’ relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.

Post Application fee :
- General category candidates have to pay Rs. 400/- plus applicable GST
- Candidates belonging to PWD, SC and ST categories are exempted from payment of application fee.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
- Selection will be through a Written Test for shortlisted candidates,followed by an Interview, only for those candidates who qualify in the Written Test. The venue for the Written Test/ Interview will be at BEL, Bangalore.
- 85% Marks will be allotted for the written test and 15% for the interview. Candidates who pass in the written test will be called for interview in the ratio of 1:5 in the order of merit.
- The names of candidates shortlisted for Written Test / Interview and final selections will be notified on the Company’s website.
- Please note that Written Test/ Interview call letters will be sent through email only.
