UPSC Recruitment 14/2023 Overview
1.Aeronautical Officer
No of Post: 26 vacancies (SC-04, ST-01, OBC-06, EWS-03, UR-12) (PwBD-03) in Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Aeronautical or Electrical or Electronics or Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University.
EXPERIENCE: Two years experience in aircraft design and development including aircraftelectrical or electronics or mechanical systems or airworthiness engineering.
DESIRABLE: One year experience in aeronautical research and development or design or laboratory investigation of failed aircraft parts or Flight Recorders involved in accident or incident or Airworthiness Engineering.
Age Limit: 35 years.
Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7 th CPC.
2.Principal Civil Hydrographic Officer
No of Post:01 vacancies (UR-01) in Integrated Headquarters, Directorate of Civilian Personnel, Ministry of Defence (Navy)
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Engineering in Civil or Computer Science or Information Technology OR Masters Degree in Mathematics or Geography or Geophysics or Computer Applications or Computer Science or Information Technology OR Pass in the final examination of the institution of surveyors in sub-division1 Hydrographic surveying. (Only those students who were enrolled with Institutions with permanent recognition up to 31.05.2013 would be eligible.)
EXPERIENCE: Three years experience in Nautical Chart Compilation and Digital Cartography. [Experience should be from Government or autonomous organization or statutory body or public sector undertaking or University or recognized research institution]
DESIRABLE:
- (i) Certificate or diploma in a foreign language, preferably French.
- (ii) One year experience in application of geographical information system technology.
Age Limit: 35 years.
Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7 th CPC.
3.Senior Administrative Officer Grade-II
No of Post: 20 vacancies (SC-03, ST-01, OBC-04, EWS-02, UR-10) (PwBD-01) in Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Department of Defence Research and Development, Ministry of Defence.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or institution.
EXPERIENCE: Three years’experience of administration or establishment or accounts work.
Age Limit: 35 years.
Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7 th CPC.
4.Scientist ‘B’
No of Post: 07 vacancies (SC-03, OBC-01, UR-03) in Botanical Survey of India, Kolkata, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Science in the required Discipline (i.e. Botany/Horticulture/Organic Chemistry) from a recognized University or equivalent.
DESIRABLE:
- (i) Experience in research/teaching in the relevant field. (i.e.Taxonomy of any of the following groups :- Angiosperm/Bryophytes/Lichens/Fungi/Algae or Molecular taxonomy)
- (ii) Knowledge of Latin/German/French/ Russian.
Age Limit: 35 years.
Pay Scale: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7 th CPC.
5.Assistant Geophysicist
No of Post: 02 vacancies (UR-02) (PwBD-02) in Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines.
EDUCATIONALQUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Physics or Geophysics or Geology or Mathematics from a recognized University or Institute; OR BE or AMIE in Electronics or Communication from a recognized University or Institute.
Age Limit: 40 years.
Pay Scale: Level- 08 in the Pay Matrix as per 7 th CPC.
