In pursuance of the interim order no. WP(C) 3007/2020, dated 24.08.2020, passed by the Hon'ble Gauhati High Court, Guwahati Extended Mop-up round of counseling for admission into the Post Graduate courses in the Medical Colleges of Assam and B.B.C.I. Guwahati for the session 2020 is scheduled to be held on 29th August, 2020 and 30th August, 2020, through Online based Platform (Zoom). Candidates whose names have appeared in the State of Assam revised merit list of NEET-P.G.-2020 and who are qualified in the said merit list and who have fulfilled all the eligibility criteria for admission into P.G. courses as per Assam State P.G. Admission rules are hereby requested to appear this round counseling.
Candidates who have already been admitted through the previous rounds of counseling for this session may also take part in this Extended Mop-up round of counseling if they desire to change their subjects/institutions.
IMPORTANT DETAILS :
- The online counseling link along with instruction for logging into the PG counseling process through Zoom based platform will be notified on 28th August. 2020 evening in the official website of this Directorate www.dme.assam.gov.in.
- The seat matrix of available seats will be uploaded in the official website of this Directorate www.dme.assam.gov.in on 28th August, 2020 evening.
- For any further information candidates are requested to regularly visit this Directorate official website www.dmeassam.gov.in.
- Candidates selected in the Extended Mop-up counseling will be considered as provisionally admitted in the course subject to verification of the original documents at the time of reporting to the respective institutions.
